Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and approaching prospective merchants or clients through field visits, phone calls, or lead databases.
- Explain product or service offerings and assist in completing registration and onboarding steps.
- Collect and verify required documentation (e.g., KYC, business licenses, bank details).
- Coordinate with internal teams (compliance, operations, sales) to ensure smooth and timely onboarding.
- Provide first-level support to newly onboarded merchants or clients, including setup assistance, troubleshooting, and training.
- Respond to merchant queries related to account activation, usage, or technical issues and escalate as needed.
- Monitor onboarding progress and follow up with merchants to ensure active engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of acquisition activities, onboarding status, and support cases in CRM or internal systems.
- Support team members in preparing daily/weekly reports on onboarding and support metrics.
- Help identify common issues and contribute to improving onboarding materials and FAQs.
Requirement Competencies
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in sales support, client onboarding, or customer service (experience in fintech, e-commerce, or banking is a plus).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; basic familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems is preferred.
