  • To provide inputs in the development of annual plan of action for business development which aligned with WBC’s business plan.
  • To prepare SMART project proposals of design, pilot test, and roll-out of initiated/ refined financial and non-financial products/ services, delivery mechanism, and market studies/ researches.
  • To identify initiative concept for future innovation of non-credit product implementation.
  • To implement the assigned plan of actions of business development department.
  • To lead in product pilot-test, roll-out for both new product development and existing product refinement.
  • To develop non-credit manual, process and procedure, guideline, instruction of new product development and product refinement.
  • To continuous update related guideline of product/service, savings processes and procedures in order to ensure effective and smooth business operations.
  • Review existing product/service strategies and their delivery mechanism, in consultation with operations team and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure the meet of current client’s needs and demands.
  • To analyze performance trend of the MFIs/MDIs industry and the offered products/services.
  • Develop business requirement and test case for enhancement of project and act a key tester for both SIT and UAT.
  • To be a key trainer for Operations Division to provide related training topics to Operations Team, especially all released savings policies, process, and instruction/guidelines.
  • To monitor regularly and report on performance trend of the microfinance industry and provide recommendations for refinements/ changes in product/ service strategies and their delivery mechanism as necessary to line management and other key relevant management.
  • To assist training unit to design or revise training curriculum and training materials regarding to business development and act as one of the key trainers for business development department.
  • To build, coordinate, and maintain critical relationship with WBC staff, key development/ business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Other tasks that may be assigned by line manager.

Requirement Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, management, marketing, finance or business administration.
  • Good understanding on MFI/Banking’s product and services, especially non-credit product development.
  • Strong numeric, analytical, and supervisory skills, strong team-orientation, and be capable to systematically and critically think on things need to be done.
  • At least three-year work experiences in the financial sector especially in the field of product development or project management.
  • Have excellent computer knowledge – Microsoft Office, Visio, Advance Excel.
  • Good understanding, speaking in English especially writing skill.
