“Woori Customer’s Day”, Thanksgiving Day to all Woori Bank Customers!

Phnom Penh: September 21, 2022 is counted as “Woori Customer’s Day”, which is attended by CEO, Mr. Kim Hong Ju, all senior management and staff at 138 Woori bank branches throughout Woori Bank branches countrywide to welcome and serve customers directly. The “Woori Customer’s Day” of 2022 was celebrated for the first time after becoming a commercial bank since the early year. This event contains for three main purposes:

  1. To thank to all Woori Bank’s customers at all branches.
  2. To enhance the relationship between Woori Bank senior management with customers and branches’ staff by providing customer service directly to the customers at the 138 branches.
  3. To create a good experience and good feeling for Woori Bank customers at all branches, as well as showing that customer service is the responsibility of all staff, including top management.

From 8:00 am to 12:00pm, all customers who come to receive services at Woori Bank, such as opening a bank account, deposit, repayment, fund transfer and other services are invited as distinguished guests with an unprecedented extraordinary service.

 

Customers are provided such a gift/ snack or drink to welcome customers from Mr. CEO, senior management and branch managers. After that, there are small talk and chitchat with the customers, followed by a photo shooting and ending with highest care until customers finish banking services and leave the branch.

This program proves the care and gratitude of Woori Bank to customers for their support and trust in our financial services for almost 30 years of operating in Cambodia.

Woori Bank Completed Talent Incubation Program Generation 1

On July 22, 2022, after successfully training participants for three months, Woori Bank Cambodia successfully closed the Talent Incubation program. The program began in April 2022 and completed in July 2022.

The celebration event was presided by Mr. Kim HongJu, Chief Executive officer of Woori Bank Cambodia and Managements Team at head office of Woori Bank (Cambodia) Plc.

The purpose of the program is to support recent graduates without prior experience through a thorough capacity-building program, accelerating their professional development and achievement in Woori Bank. Additionally, it aims to provide a chance for inexperienced or just graduated students who are passionate about gaining thrilling experience for their first job in banking sector.

This generation has comprised of 45 participants that chosen base on qualifications. Students in their second or later year of college are eligible for the program. The chosen  participants underwent a three-month training program that included Woori Bank Cambodia’s New Staff Orientation as well as all of the lessons and assignments from the various departments. This unique chance is exclusively applicable to the Talent Incubation Program. Additionally, Woori Bank will assign all participants according on our fascinating career road map in order to prepare them for future managerial positions at Woori Bank.

 

Mr. Kim HongJu, Chief Executive officer of Woori bank Cambodia delivered a meaningful closing remark that: “Talent Incubation Program is one of our succession planning in our bank with the target all fresh graduate student from university in Cambodia. You all were selected to this program as our successful participants by learning more from our bank to build up your career development long term in our Bank”.

 “I think, the program is completely good for everyone who passion to get their first experience through a comprehensive capacity building program, help you to accelerate your career growth and success. You are special from other staff as you have a chance to learn across the whole department of Woori Bank that not everyone can get this great opportunity. Moreover, you can learn business operation in head office, and also can experience field business from branch office. All of you will be switched periodically from head office to branch office, and vice versa.” Said Mr. Kim HongJu.
